Ms. Amanda’s desire has always been becoming a teacher as it is both an exciting and challenging endeavor. Ms. Amanda is a professional English teacher. She has been teaching English for over 15 years. The students she has been teaching comes from different countries around the globe. Ms. Amanda has a master’s degree in Applied Linguistics TESOL (Teaching English to speakers of other languages) from the University of New South Wales (UNSW).

She has always enjoyed teaching students; they are all so different and interesting. Working with people is something that she has found she enjoys, as all of her work experience has involved and included contact with people, in one form or another.

She would also like to include object lessons and hands on experiences, to reinforce that which she is teaching, so that the students gain knowledge without realizing they are actually learning, getting them involved in a variety of ways.

Her goal is to help each student learn by whatever method he or she learns best. She also wants them to be so excited about learning they want and desire to learn more, like a dry sponge soaks up water. Teaching is stimulating and demanding, but most of all extremely rewarding and self-fulfilling.
