General English for Adults

Our General English For Adults courses will help you develop language skills for real life situations – like speaking and conversation. We will help you develop the confidence to live, travel or work. You will graduate with real-world English skills you can use anywhere.

Courses are built around the four core skills of listening, speaking, reading and writing. The course will focus on:

• building fluency and accuracy in spoken English

• expanding your vocabulary

• understanding native and non-native English speakers

• developing skills and confidence to use English outside the classroom.

You will learn with experienced and qualified teachers in small classes. We will track your progress with regular testing.

We run General English for Adults courses at three levels and you can start studying soon as you have enrolled.

We will run a simple test to make sure you are in the right class for your level – and then you can start learning straight away.

A General English for Adults course is the perfect way to learn to interact with other English speakers for work, to get a better job or simply to travel when you finish your study.

General English for Adults can also help you prepare for further study such as IELTS and Academic English courses.

We offer General English for Adults courses for all levels of English learners. Classes range from elementary Level (Level 1) through to advanced Level (Level 3).

On your first day of class you will sit a day one placement test to make sure you are in the right class for your English proficiency level.

Your Online Course includes:

8 hours per week in a live classroom environment with teachers and students. These scheduled classes will allow you to meet your classmates, undertake activities and presentations with small groups of students.

Our online course provides you with Live Classroom Environment and Students and teachers learn together at the same time

Your Online based learning will involve:

Live Zoom video conferences with teacher presentations, pair and small group activities, and individual guidance. a rich variety of activities hosted in the Moodle learning management system, chosen, guided and monitored by the class teacher other e-learning materials and platforms selected according to student needs and preferences. grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation and skills work, with specialised content for specific courses
